I’m baaa-aaack!

So listen up… This will be a free-form blog. Whatever pops into my head will likely end up on this blog site. Except my books – I hear by declare this blog to be a promo-free zone!

It’s been a busy busy busy few months. Did I mention I’ve been busy? Jake is well. He’s working on a new set of basketball skills. I have to keep changing up the game because he can totally outsmart me. We’ve also had a recent mountain lion encounter. Luckily the cougar is afraid of Jake ‘cuz Jake ain’t afeared of the cougar. A family of squirrels moved into the backyard this summer – they built a nest in the tallest redwood tree. First we had one squirrel, then that squirrel found a mate, and now we have a couple baby squirrels running around driving Jake insane. 🙂 They know how to push his buttons

Oscar is fine, the kids are fine. (The kids are the reason I’ve been so busy plus Oscar has been out of town lots and lots.)

My parents are aging backwards, ala Benjamin Button. They are amazing peeps. My sisters are still crazy- one crazy funny, the other just plain nuts.

I don’t know how often I’ll blog, especially during the holiday season. But sign up and stay tuned. It’s gonna be fun! You knew how much I’d miss you, didn’t you! Julia
